Quote from: Slim on May 24, 2024, 12:55:26 PMWayne Rooney. He's not ageing particularly well, is he? Imagine what he'd look like without the hair transplant. He's only 38.
Younger than Cristiano Ronaldo, who's still playing and (presumably) will captain Portugal at the Euros.

Not last night's.
I was attending the Eurovision Song Contest and the UK's entry was Noel Edmonds. Thankfully he wasn't actually singing anything, instead his act was to fill a tall Perspex tube with food: sausages, baked beans, slices of bread, victoria sponge and custard mainly. When nearly full he put a pile of plates on top and climbed onto them to squash the contents. The tube then toppled over and left Noel lifeless on the stage.
Of course, with it being Noel Edmonds nobody did anything and the audience just sat in silence. Eventually I couldn't bear it any longer so I got up to check him out. When I got close to him he rolled over onto his hands and knees and crawled off the stage. I returned to my seat where somebody gave me a bottle of Champagne and I chugged it back in one.
What's that all about then?
