Devil's Deck rocks hard and Hey Operator is a good enough tune for the great Aldo Nova to cover on Subject....Aldo Nova......and Andy Curran sports a nice pair of leg-warmers on the cover. What's not to like?

I've heard of this record, but never actually heard it. Just listened to a bit on YouTube, more than anything to me it sounds a bit rough like a home demo.
Just read a bit about it on Wikipedia; Rutherford and Phillips spent £3000 on multi-track tape recorders and a mixing desk for the album, but the tape decks went wrong and recorded unwanted clicks over the recordings before they were fixed.
DIY recording is a lot easier now.
I bought that album back in the day. The only song I remember is God If I Saw her now, sung by Phil Collins and some woman. Nice enough song, nothing special. Can't remember anything else about it but I'll give it a listen and see what memories it brings.

Quote from: Nick on April 03, 2022, 03:15:36 PM100%. Don't worry too much about times and speeds. Just enjoy the fact that you are out there and cycling.Quote from: Nickslikk2112 on April 02, 2022, 09:29:00 PMWent out for my first ride in a fortnight today, thanks to COVID. Bloody Hell, it's taken a lot out of me. I'd managed to get back to 50 mile rides and now I'm doing half that and feeling it. The flat was OK but as soon as the road went uphill that was it. I looked at one uphill segment on Strava and my times hade been coming down consistently all year, now I'm back to the beginning of January times and there wasn't even a headwind today...
Didn't manage a full hill climb today, although I got further than I intended, but I managed to reach pub car parks to turn round in - and collapse over my handlebars for a bit, not done that in years. The inside of my lungs felt like they were being toasted, a strange sensation. I suppose it's only onwards and upwards from here...
