Really not a fan of recent Rush output - the last 2 albums anyway, so unless there's a change in direction I can live without any new material. And with Geddy's voice shot, I don't think I'm missing out if they don't tour again.

I didn't think they did that kind of word, so I was a little surprised to see them all turn green. Ho hum.
Feels like they are running out of options.
QuoteDetermining the number of five-letter words that are not considered obscure can be subjective, as "obscure" can vary based on the individual's familiarity with the language, regional usage, and context. However, we can make an educated guess based on common usage.
Let's use a rough classification:
Common Words: Frequently used in everyday language.
Moderately Common Words: Used less frequently but still recognizable to most people.
Obscure Words: Rarely used or known, often specific to certain fields or archaic.
Based on frequency analyses of English words, such as those derived from corpora like the Corpus of Contemporary American English (COCA) or word frequency lists, we can estimate:
Common and Moderately Common Words: These are likely to constitute around 25-30% of all five-letter words. This estimation includes words that are regularly encountered in daily conversations, media, and general writing.
Given that the Scrabble dictionary lists approximately 8,996 five-letter words:
Common and Moderately Common Words: About 25-30% of 8,996
25% of 8,996 ≈ 2,249
30% of 8,996 ≈ 2,699
Therefore, around 2,200 to 2,700 five-letter words would be considered not obscure, meaning they are reasonably familiar to a majority of English speakers. This is a rough estimate and can vary depending on the specific criteria for what is considered "not obscure."
