Tonke Dragt has died

Dutch writer of children's literature Tonke Dragt has passed away. She was 93.
Her book 'The letter for the king' is a classic in Dutch children's literature. Published in 1961 it is a book every child has read over here. A timeless and classic story, Netflix did a series based off of it in 2020. It was quite alright, she insisted on being involved to ensure the story was told right. Lovely lady she was.
