Nick - you should maybe try house of tides or Solstice for dinner if you're up for the weekend for Saucers - just on the other side of the Tyne from the Sage (I refuse to call it the glasshouse)

I was thinking of making a weekend of it Hass - because Mrs S is dragging me out - and had suggested House of Tides. Missed out on front row at the Sage (even I call it that, despite never having been) but was trying for her first choice of the Albert Hall.

Front row of sage was unobtainable because, even though they showed on their site, they were only available via ticketmaster as platinum tickets for £100.  I got third row.  That'll do.

It's a fantastic venue...I was disappointed that the previously announced gigs there in 2020 and 2021 (for which I did have front row) were rescheduled to the city hall...although that gig was sensational, but still...

The mighty FM were superb in Nantwich last night.

A fan/crowd pleasing 40th anniversary set with 1 real surprise thrown in. I'll say no more but anyone going (yes I'm talking to you Matt!) is going to have a ball.

We did!

Stew was asking a guy what was on his t-shirt..the guy said Rush..stew then said that Geddy Lee was quoted as saying that Stewart Lee was one of his favourite comedians but he never knew what the hell he was talking about... Stew then asked the bloke what the best album was... not sure he got a reply but Stew reckoned it was 2112...
