The BBC News's tediously sycophantic and uncritical "royal" review of the year.

It keeps mentioning their "work", except that senior royals do next to nothing that can fairly described as real "work".

A common theme is how much travelling round the world they've done, often to pontificate about environmental issues, oblivious the clanging irony and hypocrisy this represents.

I watched Zulu the other day. Its pre warnings came with nudity and opinions that can offend. Lots of tits at the beginning though - in the afternoon lol

It's an interesting topic, maybe deserves its own thread. In general I'm against content that was made decades ago being judged by modern-day standards but at the same time, there's no doubt that some old films, books and TV shows contain material that would be unthinkable now.

One of the old 007 novels, Casino Royale I think, has some really brazenly racist narrative. Some of the old Monty Python shows have Eric Idle, John Cleese and Michael Palin blacked up.
