That was a pretty hectic non-stop day, didn't see it all, but it had the lot - apart from high mountains...

Second win for Jasper the Disaster and another second for WvA, bring on the weekend, could get exciting.

Nickslikk2112

Good old Pogi! I thought he was only going to follow Vingegaard today. Makes tomorrow even more interesting now.
Remco down to third.

Thenop

Yes it seems Pogi wanted to do it today and then see what tomorrow brings.
Too bad that more and more riders leave due to covid though. Let's hope the rest of the peloton will be spared, but somehow I doubt that.

Nickslikk2112

It's OK for Pogi, he had COVID 10 days before the tour, probably had his immunity boosted.

Nickslikk2112

Bini made the break to get Green Jersey points. Chapeau.

And was then relegated to place 3.

Not too surprised...

Looking touch and go for Cav to make the time cut.

Thenop

I bet Pogi will win the resting day tomorrow as well. Oh my.

Why didn't they all just have a vax?

Too young.

Cav made the time cut :) Looked a bit done in though...

;D
For years cycling teams' managers could get their hands on all sorts of injectable shit, are you telling me that covid vaccines are hard to come by?

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz Intermediate Sprint Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz No Crosswinds Zzzzzzzzzzzz Girmay Crash, Philipsen wins.

Thenop

Well done MvdP, ehm Philipsen I mean. Boring stage indeed. But an exciting week ahead.

Thenop

Great win for a very nice man. Surprised to hear it was his first tour stage win. Ecuador is elated.

Pogi showing who's the boss and Vingegaard looking a bit fragile. Let's see what this week brings!

Nickslikk2112

Well that was better! Wish it had been rainy at home today.

Good breakaway win for Carapaz to give him his Grand Tour full set of stage wins. Plucky Brit Simon Yates in second and Pogi going on the attack again; got brought back and then Evenepoel clawed some time back andPogi got a couple of seconds into Vingegaard on the line :)
