There a lot of innuendo to unpack there 😀

Apart from being the beneficiary of a kind neighbourly gesture in the snow this morning (see the Weather Watch thread), just had a cracking walk with the dog in perfect winter conditions tonight: it was pleasantly cold, still and fairly quiet, and there's something consistently satisfying about the sound and sensation of hardened snow being crushed under my Salomons. :)

So happy to read that due to her recent promotion, Sophie, the new Duchess of Edinburgh no longer has to curtsey to Meghan. Some things just give you that spring in your step for the rest of the day.

As of today we've already gained 2 hrs, 35 mins of afternoon daylight since the Dec 13th nadir when the sun set at 3:50pm. That seemed to go pretty quickly! Not sure if that's a good thing or not.

Looking forward to another extra hour from Sunday.

Came across this pic of the Stones playing at Newcastle City Hall in 1971. I love old photos of the City Hall.

The red arrow indicates where I was when I first saw Rush there, six years later. Except that I was actually on the other side of the venue, but of course that's out of view in this image.

When I find money in my dreams it's still the grubby old paper banknotes and not the new stuff.

I was absolutely dreading having a broken molar extracted today after a few days on Penicillin. I was told to expect sutures, but it was all over in a couple of minutes with no sutures required. Will be glad to get back on my anticoagulant this evening as stopping it was my main concern.

Michael Vaughan cleared of using racist language towards ex-Yorkshire team-mate Azeem Rafiq by the Cricket Discipline Commission, on the balance of probability.

Or in other words: on the balance of probability, Azeem Rafiq is a liar as well as an anti-semite.
