Heard an interview with a humanitarian chap on Radio 4 during the commute home today who was asked which group in Syria we in the West should support.

"There's a really easy answer to that:", he replied, "the Syrian people".

I'm assuming that if he was alluding to western governments he was having a bit of a joke there.
