Watched all those before - not quite the same now they are splitting up.

A 3 part documentary/drama on Ch4 - The Fall: Skydive Murder Plot

This is a true story about a woman who was supposed to die
In 2015, skydiver Victoria Cilliers miraculously survived a 4,000-foot fall to the ground when both of her parachutes failed on a jump. It soon becomes clear that this 'accident' was actually attempted murder... and her husband Emile is the prime suspect.

Hear from Victoria in her first in-depth TV interview in this innovative True Crime docudrama.

The drama elemednts are done in a very strange way and 3 episodes are maybe a bit too long. Fascinating stuff though.

Yes bit  ironic how a lot of the banter in first couple of series is about divorce etc

Finished series 3 of Sweet Tooth last night. A good conclusion - I liked it (se02 notwithstanding). 8/10 overall

Saturday night we sat down to Road House on Amazon Prime.

Ho hum. Twas an ok way to spend 2 hours but on the whole very predictable.

The highlight of the film was definitely Conor McGregor starring here as Knox who was having soooo much fun.

I was a bit disappointed to find out that this was directed by none other than Doug Liman who about 20 years ago helmed one of my all-time favourite films, The Bourne Identity. Did he peak too soon? Or is it just that TBE has a special place in my heart due to the time and place that I saw it (whilst I was working in Poland)?

Anyway, overall 3/5

Dark Matter - I'm 2 episodes through so far and I can't wait to see the rest and how the story unfolds. Sc-fi, parallel universes is definitely my type of show. It's very well done and reminiscent of the superb Counterpart, which was cruelly axed after 2 seasons.

Last night Sian was working late, so I treated myself to Jurassic World: Dominion which I somehow missed at the cinema.

Was much better than I was expecting. Very enjoyable romp.

Just finished Dark Matter. Loved it - an excellent tv show and a decent ending too. It's a one off so there will be no further series. 8.5/10

Started on season 12 of American Horror Story called Delicate today. I totally forgot about this for some reason but the start is promising - it's the first season to be based on a novel (all the previous are written from scratch).

Glastonbury started today and nothing interested me, so I haven't watched it - though Squid played earlier so I've downloaded that to watch later.

I'm currently watching The Battle of the River Plate (1956) on BBC2 (I love these old Navy war movies). I had a look at the cast on IMDb and they actually have boats playing boats in the credits -  brilliant.  https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0048990/fullcredits/?ref_=tt_cl_sm

I spotted that Marvel's Ant-Man was on BBC iPlayer so we ended up watching that sort of accidentally last night.

For tonight's entertainment, I've got The Fall Guy lined up (Ryan Gosling / Emily Blunt).
