I'm in a state of disbelief so that no one else has to be. Bill Gates to thank for today's start word. I knew the solution was on a very short list and my other US inspired word had a yellow in the middle position. A poor solution for us Brits as we have to keep a part of our brain open to their little language foibles. Perhaps I should stop for a while. This'll never happen again.

PS - I'm glad this didn't occur during our competition. I think there would have been raised eyebrows.

I feel a sense of reality has returned today. Tried the word INCEL James had mentioned the other day,which I wouldn't have conjured up for myself for line four. I think without those last two letters today would have been a fail, so thank you sir.

Quite lucky to hit so many letters by line three or this would have been a definite fail. A good Wordle example of moving letters out of impossible positions to where they might be correct. Fortunately not many possible solutions remained, but a strange one.
