Kicking myself! Great start but quickly realised the possibles list was massive. However, I was too lazy to consult the previous solutions list and two of those appear on my second and fourth lines. Idiot! I need to learn how to print from an iPad or buy a new computer asap.

Another good starting word today. Took a few minutes to work out the anagram that I needed though so about 5 minutes overall.

Quite quick this one. In a way lucky that I could exclude a lot to find this.

I thought I was heading for a washout but had a very lucky third guess. I sold a bit of this in my time. Hardly a spoiler!

I gave up after about an hour, and entered a word I'd already used for the last two goes.

Took about 5 minutes to come up with my 3rd word, but as soon as it is was in my head I thought Aha!

I would have been a bit miffed if it hadn't been the solution.

The Picnic Wasp

Bedtime story:
I used to sell large section Balsa to film and TV production companies. They used it to manufacture furniture which would collapse in fight scenes. I used to keep a piece measuring
6" x 4" x 6 feet long leaning against the wall behind my desk. Occasionally when an unsuspecting victim arrived, when they were about 10 feet away, someone would ask them "what species do you think this is?" and lob it in their direction. Oh, how we laughed! It is in fact a hardwood in case it ever comes up in your local pub quiz.
Zzzzzzzzzz.
