Listened to Camel's Rain Dances while out on a bike yesterday. I quite enjoyed it but I think it's the sound, and the way the mid '70s zeitgeist comes across more than anything. In truth there's not a particularly good tune on it.

Sounds quite Supertrampish in parts. Very bland. Underproduced, as well.

I think that is a fair assessment. I like listening to it on the car, but not really so much at home. There are more albums like that, usually the more concept-ish ones that do that for me. This feels like a concept album, maybe that's it for me.
