Cloudy all day and into the evening today, so was denied any opportunity to see the comet currently in our skies.

The forecast is a lot more promising over the next few days however, so hopefully I'll get to spot it before it fades from view.

Getting pretty wild here now. Keeping an eye on Flightradar for any aircraft doing a go-around at Glasgow Airport. One so far.

Yeah, seems to have calmed down here again after a blustery few minutes with driving rain. Maybe just starting to reach these parts or it's just the outer edge brushing past.

Every the weather turns sour I think: that's it, we had the last nice day of the year.

And then today I walk the dogs in a shirt, 19 degrees, sunny, no clouds.
