Had my first ever Aperol Spritz on Friday, my style idol Adam Blythe raves over them. Wasn't too shabby.

'er indoors likes them, I tried one to see what they were like. Quite liked it.

Nice, I used to make those myself sometimes when I lived in London. I was a bit of a Japanophile, used to buy Sake from the Japan Centre on Piccadilly, now no longer there sadly. My own version was exactly the same as a regular vodka martini, but substituting Sake for the vermouth (in a slightly geater measure). I favoured a lemon twist rather than olives.
