Something I find a little jarring about her performance there is that it's basically a blues, but she doesn't use microtones at all. Nothing wrong with that but when your ear is used to traditional guitar blues it sounds a bit weird.

So in a traditional blues player would typically bend that note up half a note or put a bit of vibrato on it but she plays it so straight - which is the proper jazz tradition - that to my ear it sounds flat.

I still think that Chrissie Hynde is the woman who wears a guitar best. A Telecaster really suits her. Quite an iconic profile.
