Lightyear

Does what it says on the tin. Very enjoyable, although the story might need some explaining to younger children.

Even as an older child, I am questioning a crucial part of the plot, as I can't get my head around it. I might need to do some internet searching to see if I missed something. No spoilers from me here though.

All in all, a very enjoyable trip to the cinema.

May well take the little Miss along; I'm considering IMAX, but I just wonder if the sheer size of the screen might frighten her a bit, or the size of the ticket costs might frighten me.

Minions: The Rise Of Gru might be a better bet for a little one. It will almost certainly be more fun. I saw a trailer for this prior to Lightyear and it looks really good.

In hindsight I was disappointed with Lightyear as I was so looking forward to it and it just didn't live up to my expectations.
