RIP James Kottak

Great drummer, first heard him on the Kingdom Come album and he went on to play with the Scorpions for decades.
Actually saw him up close when the band I was in opened for them in '97.

He had some issues, got him fired from the Scorps, looks like it got the better of him.
Just 61 years old, another sad loss.

Saw him with Kingdom Come when they supported Magnum back in 1988, so a bit of a coincidence there. Definitely a good drummer.

Sorry to hear. He would have been in the Scorps in 2005, the last time I saw them. The Grim Reaper has had a busy time of it recently.
