Finished Mrs Davis last night. It was mad from beginning to end and reminiscent of Preacher in it's oddity. Very well dome though: acted and produced excellently 9/10

Curb Your Enthusiasm ep 5

My TV screen is mostly filled with Married at First Site Australia and Celebrity Big Brother these days so not really watching much else as the missus has control 

Saltburn.  Quite a disturbing watch with depraved Oliver!  So many turns as it reached its conclusion.   The turns were unexpected to begin with but became more and more predictable as the story wore on.  Beautifully filmed and set and I enjoyed it.

Must watch Promising Young Woman as my daughter raves about it!

Promising Young Woman is superb - it possibly raised my expectations of Saltburn far too high, as I found that very underwhelming.

Argylle - I had very, very low expectations of this movie due to the scathing reviews. Maybe it's me then as I really liked it (my wife did too). Okay, maybe it was 20 minutes too long but it was funny and action packed. You sort of know what to expect with Matthew Vaughn (Stardust, Layer Cake, Kick Ass, Kingsman etc.) and to me this didn't disappoint. 8/10

I can recall a time very easily where I would have bought this for about £20 on its release date. The world is so different.

After weeks of watching Cheers and Friends I was hoping to find another long run to take the late night viewing slot. I'd heard good things about Modern Family but didn't connect with it straight away. Really enjoying it now. I'm hoping that after this I'll feel the same way about Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm.
