I like the first album. Devil's Deck rocks hard and Hey Operator is a good enough tune for the great Aldo Nova to cover on Subject....Aldo Nova......and Andy Curran sports a nice pair of leg-warmers on the cover. What's not to like?

My Envy of None album should plop through the door tomorrow. Really liking what I've heard so far, especially this:

I remember Tommy Vance playing them back in the day.  Don't remember what song he played, I just remember that the band got their name from Colney Hatch, an area very close to where I was brought up in Barnet

I think I read that the band chose to slightly alter the name of Colney Hatch after becoming aware of the asylum there

How interesting, always thought it must be something to do with Coney Island.

Wikipedia:

"The band was named after the Colney Hatch Lunatic Asylum (1851–1993) in London."

The excellent cover art by British artist, Martin Springett, alludes to lunacy. I'm not the only fan:

Got to admit, this album didn't really stick with me. Will give it a listen again sometime soon.

I don't think I ever got past the third track..

I really like it. Completely not Rush which is part of the point. Very hypnotic.
