Went down the rabbit hole of home assistant/automation YouTube.. just wondering if anybody has got into this stuff.. I have the usual Alexa voice control stuff and Hive for controlling lights/ heating etc but this assistant seems to give you endless possibilities with devices being able to potentially "talk" to each other and perform actions/tasks

Incredible story....

Got one of the round ones with the digital clock on it.. noticed recently after the morning alarm and you tell it off/stop alarm it seems to completely shut down.. only way to get it go do anything is  to power off/on.. tried a Google on i seems. to be a known bug.. with people saying Amazon have allegedly fixed but it's still happening.. anyone else had this ?

Anyone got a soundbar that integrates with a firestick ie you can control the volume with the firestick remote?

So I heard this morning that the reason they think it went down was due to incorrect data... now I'm no systems/application guy but I would like to think any kind of robust system can handle incorrect/corrupt data without it bringing the entire system down... it even brought down the backup system as well...

Anyone think she's innocent.. just asking.. it's all very odd and quite intriguing..

Anybody with them?.. had problems first thing this morning..bit odd .. Alexa woke us up as usual..went to get it to play the radio then it wouldn't connect....logged onto work ok via the same Wi-Fi SSiD as the Alexa and it was fine.....cabled PC worked fine as well.... I put it down to a Google problem. which I did have before.....Alexa came back about an hour later

ASMR is the term used to describe a tingling, calming sensation some people report experiencing in response to close personal attention or certain audio or visual stimuli.

I don't know why but watching windows being cleaned does it for me.. happened today..house across the road were having their windows done and this tingling kinda peacefulness happened.. it's very weird but at the same time calming. Think it was during teenage years that it first happened
