I finally tracked down (through Vimeo of all places), the C4 documentary from a few years back (2014?) called My Granny The Escort.

This features the stories of 3, well, older ladies who do escort work. Also some chat with some of the (usually younger) men who use(d) their services.

Quite interesting 8)

Here is a brief trailer . . .

Bagging a free copy of Konami's Castlevania Anniversary Collection from the Epic Store. They do different free games every week and whilst I already have the Castlevania Advance collection on Xbox, this was a treat that I had intended to get at some point, but here it is for free.

Grab it while you can if you want it.

Whizzed through the 10 episodes of Nautilus on Amazon Prime. A very mixed bag and I think it unlikely that there will be a season 2. If there is, I'll watch it, but I won't lose any sleep if there isn't.

Binged the first 3 episodes of Paris Has Fallen last night, hooked in by Sean Harris in the trailer.

Excellent stuff so far.

Honestly - I haven't played for weeks if not months, and I got that in less than a minute! Very random.

So finished off series 3 of The Cleaner on the Beeb.

Also whizzed through series 1 and 2 of Strike which I somehow missed when it was first broadcast. Will catch up with the remaining 3 series, and am looking forward to the 6th which is due soon I think.

Tonight (or at least that is the current plan) will be a viewing of Bad Boys: Ride Or Die.

250g large letter yesterday: £2.70
250g large letter today: £3.30

Increase of 60p which is 22.2%

Thieving bastards.

Twisters for our Saturday night entertainment.

Disappointing, unlike Twister which we can (and do) watch time and time again. Which reminds me, the 4K of Twister is due out on October 14th (as is Twisters).

Another national treasure has shed her mortal coil.

Known to my generation of course for her Oscar winning performance in The Prime Of Miss Jean Brodie and perhaps to younger audiences for playing Professor Minerva McGonagall in the Harry Potter films.

And of course, although I have never partaken myself, she starred in the very popular Downton Abbey on TV, and I believe 2 feature films.

Thank you Dame Maggie for making our world a little brighter for so many years.

Ah. Very saddened when I just read the news that Parker had passed away at the ripe old age of 99.

A very good innings indeed M'Lady.

Kept working until quite recently.

A legend.

A national treasure in some circles!

Gone but definitely not forgotten.
