Big grin on line two and then the realisation hit of just how many possibilities remained. Probably lucky to get there before my options ran out. All over very quickly.

Thoroughly enjoyed that from start to finish. I'm glad Messi finally got to tick the remaining box. I thought that the movement and skill displayed for Argentina's second was magnificent. I think it will be quite a while before I can tolerate an SPFL game after sitting down to such a feast of talent.

Good to get the last letter quite quickly and eliminate a middle possibility at the same time. Was left with a nervy go for line three and delighted when all went green. Just as well given everyone's performance today. James on the steroid Weetabix obvs. 😁

I forgot one.

Those who do not pick up after their dogs, or when they do they dangle the bag from the nearest tree.

Not so much a today thing, as just a gather-up in need of a Spring clean.

The use of the expression "to be fair" when they mean "to be honest".
Incorrect use of the word behalf.
Folk who stand in doorways on their mobiles, oblivious to the avalanche of life building behind them.
Full beam headlight switches welded in the on position.
Cars creeping out of junctions despite a constant flow of traffic.
Spelling mistakes on news websites and tv captions.
Supermarket trolleys left unattended, blocking essential type grocery shelves as their users wander off looking at things.
The full trolley dash from customers behind me in the queue, when a new checkout opening is announced and I have a basket with two items in it.
The word definettly or definaytly.

I'd better stop. Thanks for listening.

Similarly, as an apprentice surveyor, I had to travel to a city centre retailer which was HMSO approved, to buy excerpts of 1:1250 Ordnance Survey maps in order to provide detailed property boundary plans to solicitors and building societies. Another adventure for the 17 year old me was visiting the Mitchell Library which housed the Glasgow Room. There I could request dusty old tomes to be brought over to my desk which provided various rating and planning information for addresses the practice had surveyed recently. All click of a mouse stuff these days which in a way is a bit sad. I'm glad I got to have a foot in both worlds. I'm still quite conversant in pounds, shillings and pence. I'm not sorry about that at all. I bought a crusty loaf recently and it was two guineas.😁

I'm so envious when I hear accounts of those who have such an in-depth knowledge of computer technology. I have a good brain which has always been good at absorbing and learning in other ways, but just doesn't seem to have that natural aptitude for an area which fascinates me. Each to their own as many a TNMS argument used to end with 😉.

I have no idea how this just happened. Hand on heart, nothing dodgy occurred. Very bad hangover today with sludge running through my brain for most of it. Weird beyond belief.

I genuinely believe that in certain parts of the world (ahem) referees have a not so secret agenda. Alex Ferguson made a hugely revealing statement in an STV documentary when he was the manager of Aberdeen. Referees can very often influence the results of games. Personal hatred, bigotry, sectarianism, Brexit, empire building history, racism. You name it. Certain groups will always suffer from this, there's no real protection and England are definitely high on the hated list. Ask Eurovision (except this year). 😁
