Doubt the band did. Second cover art to get screwed up by the wrong colour in less than 12 months - unbelievable!

Caress Of Brass  ;D

Being a bit literal arent you?

What was wrong with FBN? Not supposed to be blue?

There is another "wintery" album cover that I like which is blue, Storm of the Lights Bane by Dissection.

I really like it, and enjoy it still. One ofthe few albums by the band I can still listen to from start to finish

When I first heard it (remember, my first experience of Rush was MP, the AFTK, and then ATWAS in that order) it blew my mind. I was a burgeoning metal fan back then, in love with Priest, Motorhead and just getting really into Maiden so I loved guitars, drums, screaming vocals and vituosity.

So, COS worked for me. ITIGB is maligned, maybe due to its title rather than its subject matter, which i think is actually quite astute and cleverly written.

I subscribe to the theory that becaise the likes of the band, and Gene Simmons and a few others went "its a bit meh" that some fans do as well.

I listened to the AFTK 40th release the other day, and the COS songs on the live disc are outstanding. I would love a pro quality version of the necromancer to listen to live as well one day if it exists.

I love the cover, I love the album title, and I love the fact that if i listned to a shuffle of songs on my spotify (dont hate me!) account, I could transition from Middletown Dreams to the Necromancer in the space of 5 minutes and love each track equally

And, whoever said this, but Geds vocals are ace on this platter. Still dont touch the GUP live album IMHO where everything he does seems effortless, but still right up there with his best

Big News. Assuming Mrs Miller lets me (she has bloody covid!) Im going cycling outside tomorrow!

I have some new Ale shorts (big reductions at Wiggle at the moment, and they are lovely), a new Lezyne mini pump in case of punctures, and no excuses. Weather looks set fair as well

Its sort of OK.

I get weary of these series about super hard guys who are indestructable though.

I read the first few books then got bored very quickly, found it tiresome that he would always have an answer, new everything, was harder than everyone else.

And I reckoned he would smell

I do like the coloured tyres very much.

The helmet debate will always rage on, I know if I get hit by a car the helmet will probably be irrelevant. But the 3 crashes I have had my head hit the road each time, and I have zero doubt that I would have been very badly hurt If I had not been wearing one. Very badly

For the sake of simply clipping it on, I dont even notice I am wearing one these days when I am out

Im not going to be swayed by the cheap/expensive argument on shorts though. Its the one thing I really dont compromise on when it comes to my clobber.

My enforced step back from outdoor cycling has saved me a fortune

Love the fact that the Fish has now entered the world where suddenly your wallet gets a hammering:

Sunglasses: Just make sure they are properly UV, they fit, and are shatter proof, as sooner or later they will fall off. And a clear pair for when its dark or not sunny/rainy

Lights: UV ones for me, but I rarely ride at night now, roads too bad round here

Shorts: Dont go cheap, the padding is everything. And ideally bib shorts (straps over the shoulders)

Decent Helmet: Dont go cheap, could save your life

One of the best purchases I ever made, other than good tyres, was a gas pump rather than a hand pump

So how many gold medals does your Mrs have?  ;)

None as such, although she and her sisters were world champions at something called the Mounted Games (its a horse thing)
