Writer/director Martin McDonagh re-teams with his leads from In Bruges, Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson, in a film that takes many elements familiar from Father Ted but gives them a coating of pitch black tragicomedy.

McDonagh is noted for his delicious dialogue and is on peak form, as are Farrell and Gleeson, the former's character utterly bemused at the latter's sudden decision to end their friendship.

I effusively recommend this - it's hilarious, heartbreaking and utterly engrossing, with two of the finest performances I've seen in a long while.
