Can anyone recommend where to get good cables that work... checked Amazon and reviews vary from do not buy to worked for a few weeks then didnt.

Anker is a good brand to buy on Amazon or else where. Bit more expensive than most cables but well built and solid.  I have several.

Thanks .. i bought a couple of them a couple of weeks ago and they're pretty solid👍
