BA2 is now the dominant one in Scotland with numbers going sky high again.. one of the regular virus people reckons we'll hit the peak in a couple of weeks and it may slowly burn itselfs out as there will a lot less people for it to infect.

Took me a while to appreciate this album.. ITIGB is complete pants but the rest of the album is quite wonderful.. it's one of these without this there would never have been 2112/AFTK etc etc.... Def. a step up from the first/second albums....

Never bothered with needles so the vaccines were fine... managed to test positive last June 10 wife's birthday of all days....bit of a runny nose lost my taste and smell for about a week but otherwise fine.. Weather was good so pretty much stayed out the way sitting in the back garden in the sunshine....like I said to most folks at the time I've had colds that were a lot worse than this.... tested negative a week later
Fish junior tested positive last week but he has a place of his now so isolating not a problem.... Cold like symptoms sore throat/ headache/ loss of appetite but I think he's now on the mend...
Numbers up here in Scotland on the ruse again.. hospitals numbers end of Jan were about 800 now over 1600..numbers in ICU tho are still very low
Still wearing masks to shops / public transport but noticed at the theatre last Friday many people seem to have stopped wearing masks....
I'll stick with them for now methinks

25 miles yesterday.. Ayrshire coast road again to Dunure  which boasts on its welcome sign Outlander filming location...nice little village with small harbour..... so a quick tour of that then back up onto main road and back the way I came then turning off for another trip up and over the Carrick Hills then picking up earlier routes and home

He turned up on the itv ..Our House 4 part thriller on just now...

Was a bit undecided about going out today..... weather was starting to close in..windy rainy still a bit of brightness but decided what the hell....glad I did... obviously rubbish weather keeps the walkers/dog walkers indoors so less obstacles for me to overcome... intention was going to get to Dunure on the coast do a circuit of that and see where the force would take me......quick change of plan 3 miles in and decided to try the Carrick Hills again... a bit of battle climbing up but worth it on the descent... reaching the heady speeds of 27 miles an hour.. took a new route off the hills thru the little village of Knockdon which I'd. never heard of.. again a nice freewheeling exit from that village down to the main road where I joined up with earlier routes thru Minishant/Alloway/Seafront and Pier....Weather was now pretty nasty by this time so quick route home into a very strong headwind

20 miles..very enjoyable
