5 episodes of The Last Of Us (HBO) blitzed these past couple of nights, superb TV.

Watched The Old Man (Disney+) starring Jeff Bridges and John Lithgow this past week, excellent TV with a Jason Bourne vibe to it and renewed for a 2nd season - 9/10.

Started watching Full Swing (Netflix) golf documentary, 3 episodes in and interesting enough so far.

Quote from: R6GYY on February 21, 2023, 06:26:01 PMI see that there is a trailer out for Foundation Season 2. Should be airing in the summer or so it said (I think).

If it is as good as the first season, then we should be in for a treat. I might the first season again before season 2 kicks off actually - get up to speed again.

Excellent news.

Rattled through all 3 seasons on City On A Hill which had Kevin Bacon belting out Tom Sawyer at the end of the 1st episode - 8/10.
Not sure what to watch next, stock pilling The Last Of Us to binge watch but thinking it will likely be Hunters Season 2 on Amazon (cannot believe Amazon have gone for a 2nd season of The Rig !?!?)

Have been off work this past week on holiday as I never work the week of my birthday and have watched a lot of films :-
Jaws, The Thing, The Warriors, Star Trek The Motion Picture, Star Trek Insurrection, Prince of Darkness, The Ipcress File, Team America - World Police, The Hunger Games, Blade Runner.

Quote from: R6GYY on February 12, 2023, 07:08:25 PMJust finished season 2 of Star Trek : Discovery.

Bloody hell that was good and I can see why Anson Mount has become a fan favourite as Captain Christopher Pike. He is terrific!

But I think I will continue on with Discovery season 3 now, and keep Strange New Worlds for later.

Its all downhill from now (Season 3 onwards) with Discovery.
Strange New Worlds is excellent.

Quote from: pxr5 on January 29, 2023, 02:41:45 PM^ Vesper is OK; it's not brilliant but certainly a decent watch. It's a bit grim though.

I'm waiting for all episodes of The Last of Us before watching (I hate waiting a week between eps) and I've got The Midnight Club on my to-watch list.

Next TV show we'll be watching here will be series 2 of Alice in Borderland - the first series was brilliant.

Vesper was ok, I thought it would be more than it was....too much that we didn't get to see !!
Watched Alice In Borderland Season 2 from the day it came out, as good as the first season.
Finished Fauda Season 4 (Netflix), very good again (8/10).

Started on Star Trek Discovery Season 4 (Paramount+) even though the 3rd season wasn't the best.
