Quote from: R6GYY on July 01, 2023, 05:17:32 PMSilo finished now. Cracking ending to a great series.
Just finished too. And yes an amazing, twist of an ending - I never saw that coming. I notice that Silo is based on the books by Hugh Howey, I may give them a go.

Yep, thought the same when I finished the full season in 2 days at the weekend....downloaded the books the next day as I need to find out what happens next, last time I did that was when I watched The Maze Runner movie.

Now rattled through the first 7 episodes of From (Season 2), will finish it tomorrow....superb stuff again !!

Finished The Days (Netflix) which was good viewing, obviously not in the same league production values wise when it comes to Chernobyl - 8/10.

Finished Pieces of Her (Netflix) which was decent enough - 7/10.

Hopefully start on Black Mirror this week.

7 episodes out of 8 watched of Pieces of Her (Netflix) and decent enough so far....watching this with the wife.

2 episodes into The Days (Netflix) of the Fukushima nuclear disaster, good viewing so far.

Quote from: Slim on May 22, 2023, 03:07:45 PMThe final UK Rush tour kicked off ten years ago this evening at Manchester.  I had a pretty good seat, just a few rows from the front.

Almost looks like the view I had although I was about 7 or 8 rows back....was £85 for the ticket if I remember correctly !?!?
TPE train down from Glasgow on the day, met lots on TNMS folk in pub before the show and then stayed in a windowless 1 person room at the Britannia Hotel before getting the train back up the road the next day.
Got to see them again in Glasgow, Amsterdam, Koln and Berlin on this tour which enabled me to catch all the alternating songs with The Body Electric as the last song to catch in Berlin !!

Been watching The Why Files on YouTube, about a 3rd of the way through his conspiracy/historical videos and I love the way he presents the subject matter.
Just watched the ones on Denver Airport and then Dulce Base, totally grabs my attention !!
