Beginning to become optimistic about being reunited with a bass guitar (my first proper one) after spotting something for sale online. I've been doing a lot of Googling and emailing bass guitar sites and got a couple of good pointers regarding the guitar's history over the weekend. One came from an old TNMSer who might just have given me the info I need to put this to bed one way or another. I found the original receipt for the bass yesterday. Dated 21/12/79. 2112 day 😁. It must be a sign. I hope it comes home as it was a present from my late mum and dad and thinking about it now my dad only made it through another 11 months. Wow, never thought of that before and wasn't expecting those tears just now.

Four minutes but should have been a line three finish. Picked a non word to begin with when I should have used the correct first letter.

Managed to get out for a couple of hours before my brother turned up. Didn't feel too sprightly as last night's bottle of Cotes du Rhone had given me a real red wine head and the chicken curry had, well, you don't want to know.

Wanted to try and average 16 mph over a similar route to what I'd done a couple of times this year. I failed. Just. Came in at 15.97 mph - I'll ignore Strava's 15.8 - I suppose it will do, it was quite warm, I got quite sweaty and there was just too much traffic knocking about. That's it until next Thursday now, unless I get on a Boris Bike in London.

For context: 250,000,000 doses of Moderna have been given in the USA alone.

13,500,000,000 doses of all vaccines globally.

We're three and a half years down the line, so where are we up to with the relative risk of severe outcomes from the virus vs. vaccines?
Judging by the conclusion, that context has already been considered but not without caveat.
