Actually a real good comeback album. I love the buzzsaw opening riff of Check my Brain

Agreed, even has Elton playing on the title track 😉

I still reckon Jerry Cantrell's second solo album Degradation Trip may be the best thing he's ever released...and I'm a huge AiC fan

The Picnic Wasp

Thin Lizzy - The Very Best Of

Nil Kershaw - The Best Of

A couple of bargain basement offers from Fopp (probably) back in the day. NK is an underrated guitarist. I still find his melodic chord structures fascinating. Very well stitched together by a background of nicely fuzzy lead lines.

The Picnic Wasp

Eddie Brickell & New Bohemians- Shooting Rubber Bands At The Stars

A young Edie saved my night from being a total washout after paying good money to witness a dire Bob Dylan at the SECC Glasgow. I wouldn't open the curtains to watch him in my garden after that travesty. Spent most of the night with his back to the audience as far as I can remember. I don't think he spoke to his fans once between songs.

Yes, they reveal exactly what has been recorded which, in this case, is exposed as being pretty poor

'Fancy' speakers would improve the experience, though?  Not that I have any. 😄

They should employ Steven Wilson to remix all the later years stuff.
