Yes, it is short, only 64 minutes. Probably because both Mistreated and Catch The Rainbow each have a whole side reserved for them. When you think what other material could have been included, it's a shame (Tarot Woman and Stargazer, for instance)

It was very expensive when it first came out too. Often, when browsing through LPs in record stores, it always struck me how dear it was compared to other LPs of a similar ilk. I don't remember the exact price but 2112 was £3.99 when I bought it new. I think On Stage must have been 3 times the price of that at least.

There was some great stuff on that programme, all those years ago. One that I remember especially well was the Collosseum II broadcast with Gary Moore.

Might start a Gary Moore thread, he was an underrated player in some respects.

Indeed there was.. forgotten about them.. pretty sure Supertramp were  on it as well as Steve Hillage

Interestingly Gentle Giant were  on the week after Colosseum II.. late Jan 1978
