Yes, I never saw, well heard, why people had such a downer on it. Certainly better than Technical Ecstasy and I rate it higher than Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.

Even John Peel loved it, which might explain why others didn't...

New Order - Substance. Apart forom 2 singles I did not know the band, I was too immersed in METAL, but was given a tape of this back in '87. Never looked back. No matter how I try to listen to the original versions of the songs on here, all I can think is: this is not how these are supposed to sound.
