Excellent album of re-recordings. Love it. Always liked the band but the resurgence that started with Target Earth is really special.

NP: Herbie Hancock - Fat Albert Rotunda. Might be my favourite of his. But ask again tomorrow and it's probably another one. What a catalogue!

One of the albums released last year I keep coming back to is Unison Life by Belgian trio Brutus. It's not metal, it's not hardcore or anything like that. It's guitar, yes of course, it's heavy, but it feels like a lot more. And above all it's very honest and unique, at least to these ears.
Which is why I was triggered when I saw they did an Audiotree session. I was really impressed by them and the interview bits, well I don't tnink I have ever seen such a down to earth and to the point type of thing coming from a musician.
Don't take my word for it though, see for yourself.

As oppose to Priest and Maiden, Voivod did thrive with a different vocalist. Especially Phobos is a fantastic album.

Steven Wilson - The Harmony Codex... really enjoying this, must be one of the best produced albums sound wise.

King Crimson - Lark's Tongues in Aspic (Dolby Atmos version)

Sounds a lot better now I can actually play it in Dolby Atmos  :)
