Yes, they're a very nice sounding band. My favourites are The World is a Game and One Among the Living. Their latest, Redemption is good too.

Got that on Cassette somewhere, probably doesn't sound that great...

Hawkwind - Space Ritual 50th Anniversary (Stephen W Tayler 5.1 mix) It's trippy maaannnnnnn

Trevor Rabin - Rio

Comes with a 5.1 Blu-ray Disc.

I am now wishing I had a 5.1 system because there's just so much going on in this album.  His day job nowadays of course is composing film soundtracks and he hasn't forgotten to have this album of songs mixed accordingly...

Spotify turned all black on me, normally my favourite colour, but none of the functions actually work. Not that much of an issue, after my LPs, car audio, Shanling music player and my trusted Swinsian app it is 5th in line of what to listen to devices. But still, I pay for it.
To my joy, SpotifyCare actually cares and is in full swing trying to solve the issue.
Meanwhile installed Tidal for a trial run.

Iron Maiden: Dance of Death (oddly enough I don't own the actual album)

Fooling around on Tidal (Spotify is working again BTW) I stumbled upon something I recorded - with some other people of course - many years ago. It's called Corbelijn after a character in a Dutch book. Haven't heard it in years but it's quite nice. I'm on the drums of course, not much of them either  ;)  Kind of different form my usual shtick.
Appears to be on Youtube as well, who knew? Someone must've uploaded it at some point.

Brings back memories. We couldn't get the first part of "So Strange" right, so we opted to include the demo version, you can hear the splice, but it fits nicely.
Listening to it, the lyrics are fitting for the times.
