I remember being disappointed when my copy stopped blinking.
The vinyl reissue never did.

Bought it in the '90s without the blinking thingy, for just a few guilders because of the missing outer case. Figured I'd store it somewhere anyway. Which reminds me: I must have it somewhere :-)

The Anchoret - It All Began with Lonileness
Prog metal, debut album, very good. FFO: (latter day) Opeth, Fates Warning, maybe a bit heavier at times and perhaps even more eclectic.

But don't take my word for it, listen yourself:

Playing some recently purchased records today:

Spock's Beard - The Oblivion Particle
Rush - Caress of Steel
Rush - Signals

Those 2 Rush albums looked pristine but they play perfectly as well (not a blip or scratch anywhere) - I'm certain they've never been played since original purchase.
"Oh, for the wings of any bird other than a Battery hen."

2 fantastic albums, still sound fresh to me.
Spock's Beard, haven't listened to them in ages.

Blackbraid II. Does wha it says on the tin: American black metal, twist: it is done  by a native American, so there's water running and campfires sparkling in the background. Quite good.,
Next up: Rory Gallagher's All Around Man live 1990 newly released. Oh no wait...DHL didn't show up >:(

I inside the old year dying

I cannot think of another artist who's managed a career of 32 years who has been so singularly and consistently brilliant.

Can you recommend a record, I'll give it a listen.  Saw him once when he toured with Joe Jackson....remember it not really being my cup of tea...

Lars Fredrik Froislie - Fire Fortellinger. Debut from the Wobbler keyboard player.
Sound as exactly as you would think it sounds.

Yes was an odd show that..

Anyway loads of stuff to choose from
Back to bars.. live album which gives u a pretty idea of his 70s material ...
Studio stuff..
Hermit of Mink Hollow
And of course A Wizard a True Star

From the 80s Healing is a wonderful album
Also Nearly Human from 89 is a live in the studio job.. really good
From the 90s if ur looking for something different try No World Order.. it's splits option but I love it
From the 00s Liars and Arena are great
