I took a few hours break after the third line...came back and got it in a few seconds...seemed obvious...the brain works in mysterious ways...

I'm still partial to their second and third record.  Don't like the new line up at all, no Dunnery, no point.

Good that despite disliking needles, you still had the jab, slim.

I'm still wearing a mask too, as much out of courtesy for others, really.  I have noticed a massive drop in others wearing them...not sure if that's the 'Ukraine effect'...something else for people to be anxious about.

My Wife and 2 children both tested positive at separate times in Jan and Feb, but I got lucky.  Not sure if it was lucky as it feels a matter of time.  My main concern is being able to care for Mum, as I'm pretty much on my own there, and she needs visiting a couple of times a day.

I've worn earplugs at select gigs since R30.  The volume of those shows up until Glasgow was stupid.

Whoever said 'if it's too loud, you're too old' deserves a slap.

I have a mild ringing too.  I sleep with foam earplugs which subconsciously help.

Such a lovely picture.  I've taken to looking at old pictures too...makes me a little sad.  Things just seemed better back in the 70s/80s/90s, even though they probably weren't..

There's crap pressing plants and there are brilliant pressing plants.  Just received Neil Young's live at the Fillmore, pressed at Pallas and it's immaculate, totally flat and pop and crackle free.

Had a minor accident in the van on September 10th.  Insurance company have still not sorted a repair.

SSE - fkin idiots.  Ombudsman claim lodged.

Didn't get planning permission for a project at a student property I manage - would have made it infinitely better for tenants  - and I had to chase and chase for a response from them as they were 8 weeks late.

Still waiting for a decision on my garage build - should have had the decision in November.  Newcastle City Council are just shit.

God bless those Ukrainian soldiers who told a Russian warship to 'go fuck yourselves' before being bombed.  Die with your boots on.

Heartbreaking seeing what is happening in real time.  And scary.

We went without a kitchen for 7 months back in 2019...there was some heavy construction going on with the removal of a chimney breast, and 2 large rooms becoming one, underfloor heating, new electrics, plastering, 3 new windows, etc.  Lucky that we have a large hallway for the dining table and the use of mums kitchen up the road.

Will be worth it in the end..

Thanks James for setting up.

Hope many of the TNMS members do migrate over - and I note and appreciate your friendly invitation for them to do so yesterday...
