Having to rip out a bathroom that was fitted less than 2 years ago as it continually had leaks and I just gave up.
Originally employed  company who looked very impressive who quoted 2 weeks for a full rip out and refurb...it took 51 weeks.

Had to rip right out, strip back to brickwork and just start again...albeit using the same bath, basin, loo and brassware.  Massive pain, but I'm using all my own guys so at least I know the finish will be good.

I was thinking of making a weekend of it Hass - because Mrs S is dragging me out - and had suggested House of Tides. Missed out on front row at the Sage (even I call it that, despite never having been) but was trying for her first choice of the Albert Hall.
Front row of sage was unobtainable because, even though they showed on their site, they were only available via ticketmaster as platinum tickets for £100.  I got third row.  That'll do.

It's a fantastic venue...I was disappointed that the previously announced gigs there in 2020 and 2021 (for which I did have front row) were rescheduled to the city hall...although that gig was sensational, but still...

Isn't sushi meant to be cold?
It is...but there's any dishes produced by YS that are hot...that weren't.

I'd double booked a weekend away with friends and the pretenders gig and just learned that the pretenders gig has been postponed to December.  Yay.

Quote from: captainkurtz on February 08, 2024, 09:59:10 PMDisappointed.  As an evening biscuit it takes some beating.  Much better than kitkat, club, pickup or the dreadful blue ribband.

What about a twix......?
That's more of a chocolate bar than a biscuit, though.  Even the small ones - it doesn't feel like something I'd want of an evening.
