I've started seeing references to Geddy as born Gershon Eliezer Weinrib. I was not aware of this having never read this name in any of the countless articles about him which I have devoured over the decades. Can anyone shed any light?
I didn't know that either but if you Google the name there are a few references to it from credible sources. Named after his grandfather it seems.
