Title: Whitesnake
Post by: Nick on May 11, 2022, 02:54:00 PM
Kicked off their farewell tour last night.

Lady bass player Tanya O'Callahan and Dino Jelusick in the band. Old Tommy still pounding away like a man possessed.

Lots of lip-syncing, I'm assuming. Must be difficult for DC to move his mouth nowadays

Dino was added for the vocals and he is an excellent singer, so not lip-synching per se and I don't think Coverdale is hiding the fact and the fans know.

They should have ditched the other keyboard player though.

What a shame he decided to start screaming in the late 80s. Made him some dosh, I suppose  :-\

So how does this work, is David just doing the less challenging lines and Dino's doing the rest? Purple MkII used to work a bit like that to be fair, with Glenn and David doing intervening vocals in the same song.

Glenn Hughes was not only the best bass player Purple ever had, but probably the best singer as well.
