Horrible symptoms, but - only transmits via skin contact and won't cause a pandemic. Chris Smith dedicated a few minutes to it on his slot on 5 Live on Monday night.
No cause for alarm.
I must admit though, the first time I heard it mentioned I thought to myself - where was I when I first heard of COVID-19? And I can't remember. But it must have been a similarly innocuous mention on the radio.

Hmmm, that wasn't the way it worked for Covid.......based on the statistics
Not sure what you mean but those most at risk were prioritised for vaccination and treatment so in that respect it did work the same way.
