Not so much a today thing, as just a gather-up in need of a Spring clean.

The use of the expression "to be fair" when they mean "to be honest".
Incorrect use of the word behalf.
Folk who stand in doorways on their mobiles, oblivious to the avalanche of life building behind them.
Full beam headlight switches welded in the on position.
Cars creeping out of junctions despite a constant flow of traffic.
Spelling mistakes on news websites and tv captions.
Supermarket trolleys left unattended, blocking essential type grocery shelves as their users wander off looking at things.
The full trolley dash from customers behind me in the queue, when a new checkout opening is announced and I have a basket with two items in it.
The word definettly or definaytly.

Yes, a particular bete noire of mine as a responsible dog owner.

Don't know about grumpy, but went up to my dad's today for the first time in a couple of weeks and of course there were some Christmas cards from people who we hadn't informed of his death.

Got to try and work out who they are now. Think we've cracked one so far.

Viruses are having a field day, now we're all mingling again.  Immune systems haven't been tested much recently so they're probably not as resistant to bugs as prior to covid.

turns out it is Covid. Felt awful on Tuesday but felling a lot better now except all the family is ignoring me like the plague.

turns out it is Covid. Felt awful on Tuesday but felling a lot better now except all the family is ignoring me like the plague.

I've not got COVID but when I got up this morning I've never felt as bad. Like the worst ever hangover on Steroids. At least with a hangover you start feeling better as the day goes on.

Anyhoo get well soon and as you can imagine my family ignores like the plague at all times.
