Stupidly came off my bike today. My own fault and no ice was involved. Just a choice to filter along the inside of a queue of traffic - something I don't bother to do normally - led to me clipping the kerb and coming down like a sack of spuds.

Badly grazed hip and possible dislocated finger the main result.

I hope not. I don't do doctors. If it weren't for Mrs S I wouldn't have gone to A&E after I got knocked off the bike, that time I did have a broken collar bone. I think this is just bruising and swelling.

I totally understand, it would take something major for me to go to A&E or, even worse, a walk-in centre. Last time I went to one of those, out of all the people there I was one of the few not there for their methadone.

Probably twice as painful in the cold as well. Scars of pleasure.

Shrinkflation - Crunchies are half the length they used but the same thickness and toffee crisps are the same length but half the thickness.

Expect the chocolate content has been halved as well.
