Excellent acquisition sir 👌

I bought them all on release, I'd have to say Scratch was my least listened to

Peter Gabriel's solo stuff passed me by at the time. Except for So, which most everyone has probably owned at some some point.

That's got me thinking actually - albums that most people own. I can think of 4 off the top of my head - Brothers in Arms, Automatic for the People, Tubular bells, Dark Side of the Moon.
"Oh, for the wings of any bird other than a Battery hen."

Nice idea for a thread; I have all those four except for Tubular Bells. Zeppelin IV sprang to mind. Maybe Abbey Road and Sergeant Pepper as well. Rumours, maybe. Thriller, perhaps.

I only have DSotM, but will throw in Back in Black. If not that, you should own that.

Ohhh, played to death this one!
'We're the Metal Inquisition
we Sentence you to Death...
(sound of dropping guillotine)
BY GUILLOTINE!"

haha, brilliant

Too much again as of lately, but just today my pre-order for David Sylvian's Sleepwalkers arrived. Delighted with such a quality pressing, dead silent vinyl, fantastic dynamic range. Best of all: my favourite collab track of his is on here: World Citizen, with Ryuichi Sakamoto.
Earlier this week: the new Blut Aus Nord (yes very hallucinogetic black metal again) and Lee Morgan the Rumproller.
And yes I do realize how all over the place this selection is  :P

Too much again, so for today, RSD drop 2 for this year I bought Pearl Jam's live on two legs & Miles Davis live '83. But, they had a nice used section where I found pretty clean copies of Tommy, Herbie Hancock's In Concert vol. 2,  Lee Morgan's the Cooker (no sleeve but fantastic clean vinyl!), Allman Brothers' Eat a Peach and the Joshua Tree, that sadly got lost somewhere in the last 35 years.
Also The Smile on yellow vinyl that I ordered earlier arrived.
I also received an e-mail that my new PT 3LP will be shipped shortly.

Uriah Heep - Raging Silence, mint S/H copy for a fiver 👍
