Quote from: Nick on March 09, 2022, 03:24:27 PMPutin should just say he's accomplished all his goals and withdraw. It's the only get out he has.
I'm sure that's what most people would like to happen but at this point I think he may have more options than Ukraine/NATO

Quote from: Slim on March 08, 2022, 08:06:12 PMBlimey, sounds like a serious bit of kit.

As my late father would've said: "would you like to try and make one for fifteen hundred quid?"
Even at the normal price of £1899, it's good value - gotta love the Chinese

Managed to achieve quite a lot on my day off today. A trip to the dump and after finishing the spare room and installing the treadmill, the electronic drums are back in and set-up and the two road bikes are back up on the wall brackets. everything just works out perfectly space-wise..very pleased.
Had my first workout on the treadmill this afternoon, a fantastic piece of kit...especially for only £1499

I have it on very good authority that defeat in The Falklands was not too far away from being the outcome

Scorpions - Rock Believer. Cheesier than raclette but some good tunes on this. Amazed they've still got it in 'em to be honest

What catches my eye is a wonderful example of a telegraph pole (Distribution Point 13?) supporting an element of the UK's fixed-line telecommunications infrastructure maintained by the hard-working members of Openreach Ltd, a company wholly owned by the superbly efficient and successfull BT plc
Makes me very proud  :)

Quote from: Nick on March 05, 2022, 07:58:51 PMI'm not a vinyl collector but I remember the many times I left records in my mini in the 80's that would warp in the heat of a summers day.
Yes that would do it but....new records? I think they may be trying to produce them too quickly and are removing them from the press before cooled sufficiently

Quote from: Nickslikk2112 on March 04, 2022, 09:28:22 PMAnd old Rodney Marsh held the record of drinking 45 beers on a flight from Australia to London, until David Boon beat it with 53...

No idea what Warney's best was.
Probably struggle to beat that...........having put aside time to screw a couple of flight attendants  ;D

Just received a copy of 'Sad Clowns and Hillbillies' by John Mellencamp (feat. Carlene Carter) on vinyl. It was a fair price but why is virtually every LP I buy on heavyweight vinyl dish-warped?  >:( Seems impossible to produce flat records nowadays
