Looking that way unfortunately. Burnley have found form since the sacking of Dyche and even Lampard looks like he's getting Everton working.

Haken, The Mountain. Too jazzy for my tastes, gave up at about halfway.

Moved onto Riverside, Rapid Eye Movement. Much better, on my home ground there

Over the last couple of nights I watched The Rise of the Krays and its inevitable sequel, The Fall of the Krays. Not the greatest and I've no idea how accurate they were but they were strangely compelling

Quote from: David L on April 26, 2022, 08:15:06 AMHe says he's an advocate of free speech which might mean that the platform may no longer interferes with the democratic process. That's a good thing in my book

Is freedom of speech for bots a good thing?
Is advocating racism or any hate speech?

However "free" he wishes to make it, it will surely need to comply with legal requirements in each country it operates in.  I imagine one of the main reasons that twitter banned Trump, for example,  was to protect itself from potential litigation.

Quote from: Slim on April 22, 2022, 09:54:35 AMI loved the Saul character in Breaking Bad but never got into Better Call Saul. I think I watched the first two then gave up.

Can't remember what happens to him at the end of Breaking Bad, but that was brilliant telly.

I really think you should give BCS another shot.  It is outstanding and I agree with Jonners overall probably better than BB

Quote from: David L on April 25, 2022, 01:43:19 PMNever even seen Newcastle's 'Amber' ale. I used to drink Newcky Brown when I attended training courses at BT's college at Yarnfield, near Stone, Staffs. No idea why, never drank it anywhere else  ???

Long Life is one of those 70s 'throw-back' beers. File with Watney's Red Barrel and Double Diamond

What was the pint that thought it was a Quart?
