How sad, 72 years old Alan White has passed. I knew him best for his work with Yes.

Christ on a Bike. Alan White, Ray Liotta and Andy Fletcher, same day. Awful news.

I knew Alan best for his work with Yes but I must have heard him first on Instant Karma, my brother had the single back in 1970. Fellow County Durham lad, he was.

Of course Yes will carry on.

Very sad news. Wonderful player in a band I've adored since a very young age (whatever the "version").

I was disappointed to hear the other week he wouldn't be playing on the imminent tour (I've a ticket for Manchester), which I assumed was for health reasons. But I wasn't expecting this.
