I went for quite an obscure word for my 3rd attempt which didn't do much good. Still, got it on the next go.

Was the word you found the original or its replacement?

In my case it was the replacement. The first one would have annoyed me for being a US English spelling. Otherwise I'd have been fine with it.

I started with a poor first word - not sure why, but a strange impulse came into my head to use it. I've just realised I ignored hard mode on the second go, absent-mindedly this time. Was surprised when my third go turned out to be the solution.
