Quicker today. About fifteen minutes. Used the most significant Good Friday word for line two which was a real help. Could only conjure up two options thereafter and one had already been a previous solution, so very satisfying.

I had an idea for the next Wordle competition, perhaps in a few weeks' time? Rather than scoring points per game, it would be a knockout competition. Anyone failing to complete their Wordle in 4 goes or less leaves the contest, and the last man standing wins.

The downside is that it's likely to be a short competition; for example if we were playing those rules this time, Picnic would have won on the fourth day.

On the other hand we could make it 5 goes or less, in which case it could run for a long time. On that basis, only Reg would have dropped out so far.

Just a thought, anyway.

I think a short run is not bad at all. It gives everyone the opportunity to participate and when you're out, it won't be long before a next competition comes up.

I like it.

This is a very laborious method and I couldn't be bothered with it for the day-to-day challenges, but it's worked well for me this week so far. I know you guys love my Easter themed words, so I started off with a very appropriate Holy Saturday symbol, which was very kind to me. I thought a line two might be on, but the more I thought, the more the list of options grew and grew. Fortunately line two eliminated all but two of them (and a couple of unlikelies) so it fell into place nicely.
