Motorpsycho & Ståle Storløkken - The Death Defying Unicorn
Steven Wilson Presents Intrigue - Progressive Sounds In UK Alternative Music 1979–89  CD1
"Oh, for the wings of any bird other than a Battery hen."

The Death Defying Unicorn is a challenging but rewarding listen. Maybe once a year though...it's a bit much to take in.

I moved on to Gretchen after that. It would be rude not to.

Now
Devin Townsend - Terria

I listened to it a lot when it came out, then seemed to forget about it. Nice to reacquaint myself last night.

Have you heard their other albums: Experiments In Mass Appeal, Falling Satellites, Day and Age? All excellent IMO.

I have the first two - must have a listen to that last one.

Pendragon - Fly High Fall Far (EP)
Be-Bop Deluxe - Sunburst Finish
"Oh, for the wings of any bird other than a Battery hen."

Slim

The very last Clash album - Cut the Crap
The first Rolling Stones album - The Rolling Stones

Both of them defeated my expectations. The Clash album is quite imaginative and energetic, and the first Stones album is really sharp, spiky R&B.

Acid Mothers Temple - IAO Chant from the Cosmic Inferno

Basically an hour riffing on the Master Builder/Glorious Om Riff. Nice.
